Since I’ve moved out this blog from my own custom Content Managment System(CMS) to WordPress, I’ve been getting more visitors than usual. Looking from the Google Analytics data of this site, the new visitors are coming from Google search – which I believe mostly due to the WordPress being Search Engine Optimization(SEO) friendly and also the SEO plugin I’ve manually installed. From the graph, the main key factor for the increase is driven by the website CONTENT itself. The logic is simple – the more new content posted with relavant keywords and titles, the more it will be picked by google. In the past, I was tought to use meta keywords or description to fool the search engine but with the improvement of new Search Engines like Google, this is now history.
