Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque HDR
18mm; F/5; ISO 320; -0.3; HDR file available Taken this morning around 6.30am (awu bekarih ku). This was my first outing alone and I actually learn a lot from this first time experience. These are some self notes taken: What NOT to do: Park too far from shooting location (while dragging a tripod.. noooo) Using a tripod without knowing how to use it properly first. Thinking that 100 shots is enough Went alone – an assistance would help alot! What WOULD have been better: A wide lens A nice stable new tripod A better weather What’s NOT right: I smell piss. First HDRI Attempt
This is my first HDRI (High Dynamic Range Imaging) attempt using my new dSLR. Basically it’s the process of taking multiple exposures and merging them together into a single 32 bit image. I’ve been trying to do this with my old point-and-shoot camera by setting diferent exposures manually but didn’t really gotten anywhere.
